Sizing Information

Most of our customers fit into medium, which is our standard size. However, if you or your partner are particularly large or particularly small, you will need a different size. (Sizing is based on the parents, not on the baby).

All sizes other than medium are custom made, and therefore can take up to 2 additional weeks,

We have have a standard 'Large' which has a tail that is 15 cm longer than the medium, and a standard 'Small', with 10 cm less padding in the rails (so it can be pulled tighter). However, because they are individually made, it is no problem to fit it to your and your partner's exact measurements.

You will need a size 'Small' if you measure between 100 cm and 110 cm from your shoulder, across your body to your waist, then around your back up again to your shoulder. (Picture how the TragMich will hang on you).

You will need a size 'large' if you measure between 125 cm and 150 cm from your shoulder, across your body to your waist, then around your back up again to your shoulder. (Picture how the TragMich will hang on you).

If you measure more than 165 cm from your shoulder, across your body to your waist, then around your back up again to your shoulder, please contact us with your exact measurements.

In most cases two people of different sizes can still share the same sling. A typical large has a tail that is 15 cm longer; a typical small has rails with 10 cm less padding, but the standard tail length. So in otherwords, a 'small' will fit both someone who needs a size small as well as someone who needs a medium, a 'large' will fit both those who need a medium as well as those who need a large.

If one partner needs a small and the other needs a large, we can make a sling that will fit both. The only consideration is that the tail will hang down particularly far on the person who requires the size small.

The easiest way to measure yourself is to use a a piece of string and then measure the string.
